Door number 5 arrives! Let's do soma bases for our army....

I love basing. And often I spend way more time building them then converting the miniature. But sometimes, time is short and the models are many, so I tried some simple and fast ways recently.
Today I'll show you how I painted an arid wasteland base with cracked up earth.

Maybe some armies out there will fight on the same planet as my nids soon?

Door number four - paint me a river

Welcome to the third door! Or rather it's a gate, cause there's a lord of war behind it.

This door reveals some tips for texturing big areas on your gaming tables or displays and also shows you my way of creating prefactured concrete tile grounds, that are the base for imperial buildings all over the galaxy. They can be found in cities and industrial landscapes as well, big underground realms and moon bases are done this way. Have fun creating your own world!

Last year we had quite a ride with our advent calendar special and even though we didn't manage all 24 episodes, we were sure it would return. And here it is, with (I really can't believe it myself) footage from the last half year or so and new stuff. There's a bit more in there this season !

Project: Legion of chaos

Welcome my friends, today I'll show you the first progress of a challenge I entered at my local store.
Warhammer Fantasy is kind of dead in our region, and something had to happen. With the endtimes books, my love for the game came back once more and I couldn't resist to dust off my old chaos horde. All employees decided to build and paint a fantasy army, so we would be able to hold big events for the endtimes and fantasy in general.

As i already have an army waiting for paint for two years now I thought it would be a good opportunity, just like my death guard was in early spring this year.

We try to finish 500 points per month, this is my start. The general of nurgle!

It's the second time I painted this great miniature. I thought it unfair to use the old one, and I also wanted to try something new. I watched GW's video to paint the Blightkings and I have to admit I was stunned how good they were.

He was painted in one session, 4 hours maybe and for the gaming table the techniques are just great, 

Next are 30 barbarians, and thats the small block... Stay tuned for more.
